Boycom Cablevision, Inc. (“Boycom,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of our customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information in connection with the provision of Internet and related services (the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy applies to residential and commercial customers and is incorporated by reference into Boycom’s Internet Service Terms & Conditions.


1. Personal Information Collected

Boycom may collect personally identifiable information (“PII”) and other information, including but not limited to:

  • Name (including company name for commercial customers)
  • Service and billing address
  • Telephone number(s)
  • Email address
  • Credit Card number or financial/bank account number of information, including routing numbers
  • Passwords or personal identification codes (PINs)
  • Date of Birth
  • Driver’s license number or government issued identification number
  • Company contact information for commercial customers
  • Information obtained through customer referral programs
  • Account number and service details
  • Payment and billing information
  • Social Security Number, where required for identity verification, credit evaluation, fraud prevention, or collections

Information may be collected directly from the customer, from service orders, payment transactions, customer service interactions, or as otherwise permitted by law.


2. Use of Personally Identifiable Information

Boycom uses PII for legitimate business purposes, including to:

  • establish and maintain customer accounts
  • provide, install, operate, and support the Service
  • process payments and manage billing
  • verify identity and prevent fraud
  • communicate service notices, billing information, and policy updates
  • comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations

Boycom does not sell customer personal information.


3. Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)

Customer Proprietary Network Information (“CPNI”) includes information related to the quantity, technical configuration, type, destination, location, and amount of use of telecommunications services, as defined by federal law.

Boycom:

  • uses CPNI only as permitted by law
  • protects CPNI through administrative, technical, and physical safeguards
  • discloses CPNI only as authorized by the customer or required by law

Customers may have rights regarding the use and disclosure of CPNI under applicable regulations.


4. SMS / Text Messaging

Boycom may use SMS or text messaging to communicate with customers regarding:

  • account notifications
  • billing reminders
  • service appointments
  • outage or maintenance notices

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Customers may opt out of non-essential messaging by contacting Boycom or following opt-out instructions where provided.

Boycom does not sell or share mobile numbers for third-party marketing.


5. Value-Added Services

Boycom may offer value-added services such as network management tools, security features, or optional service enhancements.

Information collected in connection with such services is used solely to provide and support the service and is subject to this Privacy Policy unless otherwise disclosed.


6. Information Disclosed to Third Parties

Boycom may disclose information only as necessary to:

  • service providers and vendors performing functions on Boycom’s behalf (such as billing, payment processing, installation, customer support, or collections), subject to confidentiality obligations
  • comply with lawful requests, subpoenas, court orders, or regulatory requirements
  • protect the rights, property, or safety of Boycom, customers, or the public

Boycom does not disclose customer information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Boycom may use cookies, log files, and similar technologies on its websites and customer portals to:

  • maintain session integrity
  • enhance functionality
  • analyze site performance

These technologies do not collect the content of customer Internet communications.

Boycom employs administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect customer information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

  • vendor confidentiality requirements

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure; however, Boycom takes reasonable steps to protect customer data.

Boycom does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of thirteen (13), except as necessary to provide household service under a parent or legal guardian’s account.


10. Links to Other Websites

Boycom websites may contain links to third-party websites. Boycom is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. Customers should review the privacy policies of any third-party sites they visit.


11. Statement Updates

Boycom may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on Boycom’s website and may also be communicated through billing statements or service notices.

Continued use of the Service after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.


12. Security Breaches

In the event of a data security breach involving personal information, Boycom will provide notice to affected customers and regulatory authorities as required by applicable law.

14. Definitions

  • “Personal Information” means information that identifies or relates to an identifiable individual.
  • “CPNI” has the meaning provided under federal telecommunications law.
  • “Service” means Internet and related services provided by Boycom.


15. Internet Information

Boycom does not monitor, store, or inspect the content of customers’ Internet communications. Network and diagnostic information may be collected solely for purposes of operating, securing, and maintaining the network.


16. U.S.–EU Privacy Principles

Boycom’s services are offered and governed under United States law. Boycom does not actively market services to residents of the European Union and does not rely on EU-U.S. data transfer frameworks for routine operations.

To the extent EU personal data is incidentally processed, Boycom applies reasonable safeguards consistent with applicable legal requirements.
