1. Data Allowance Overview
Each internet plan offered by Boycom Cablevision, Inc. comes with a specified data allowance, which is the maximum amount of data you can use during a billing cycle. Data usage includes all activities such as browsing, streaming, downloading, and uploading.
2. Data Allowance Limits
Monthly Data Allowance: Each plan has a defined monthly data allowance. For example:
- HFC/FIBER
- 30M/3M: 1500 GB per month
- 50M/5M: 2000 GB per month
- 100M/20M: Unlimited data
- FIBER XGS-PON
- 300M/300M: 2 TB per month
- 1Gig/1Gig: Unlimited data
- Usage Tracking: Data usage is tracked on a monthly basis, and you can monitor your usage through our customer portal.
3. Overage Charges
There are no overage charges that will be added to your plan. In the event of excessive usage that negatively impacts network performance, we may implement temporary speed reductions.
You can purchase an Unlimited Data Block plan for $50.00 per month.
4. Unlimited Data Plans
For customers on an unlimited data plan, we do not impose a data cap. However, we reserve the right to manage network traffic to ensure fair usage among all customers. In the event of excessive usage that negatively impacts network performance, we may implement temporary speed reductions.
5. Fair Usage Policy
To ensure a fair experience for all customers, we have established a Fair Usage Policy. This policy includes:
- Reasonable Use: We expect customers to use their data allowance reasonably and not engage in activities that could harm the network or degrade service for others.
- Network Management: During periods of network congestion, we may prioritize certain types of traffic to maintain overall network performance.
6. Data Rollover
Unused data from your monthly allowance does not roll over to the next billing cycle. Each month, your data allowance resets, and any unused data will be cleared.
7. Plan Changes
Customers may change their data plan at any time. If you choose to upgrade to a plan with a higher data allowance, the new plan will take effect the day you make the change.
